Possesses the height advantages needed for a tackle at the next level and clearly has the athletic potential to continue his career. Has quick feet and can move well in open space. Mobile hips and can keep up with faster Ends (see Cologne game). Has a good amount of power firing off the ball too, is able to immediately impact the opposing lineman. However, one key drawback in Hoffmann’s game is his pad level. In drive blocks downfield, Hoffmann will immediately stand up out of his stance when attacking defenders.
