Jean-placide Makina

Makina is a length athletic safety who plays best in a zone coverage scheme. He has great potential in his 6'2 frame and is experienced in the French U19 national team as a younger athlete. He shows a good trigger on the ball and into the box as a nickel or run coverage defender. He isn't hesitant on the break or in contact with the ball carrier either. The pursuit angles do need some progression as he tends to go straight to where the carrier is and not when he can meet them, he also is the most secure tackler.
