Ulmer is a well-rounded back who can produce on all levels. His shorter stature is used well in blocking to get under the pads and be evasive in the box. He takes contact well on inside and outside runs but does run with a high pad level when turning upfield. His hands are of a good quality and he shows strong run after catch potential. The burst through the gap isn't explosive, and at times gaps can become smaller because of the slower first step. His game best resembles Bonatti of the Raiders Tirol. - M.Bressington
