Frenken is an extremely physical, run-game oriented center. Has very good once he gets hands inside the nose tackle’s chest, effective at driving defenders down field and removing them from plays. Strong in double teams too (drove nose tackle 20 yards on a double team in his tape). However, footwork and speed are lacking in the run game, as was seen when he was moved from center to guard in his state-team appearances. Frenken is a slow puller at guard, and would probably get beaten by higher caliber Ends that know how to spill. In terms of pass protection, Frenken is decent. He relies frequently on hip tossing nose tackles, something which works at lower levels but will result in QBPs and sacks against higher level Ends. Overall, Frenken shows a great amount of potential but has key technique flaws that need correction before moving forward.- Chris Stoneman
